Update from the CEO

Wednesday 30 December, 2020

Dear Members,

As you are all aware we have now been told to double check in. The double check in is due to “all people attending  a hospitality venue must use the Service NSW QR code”, as required by the Registered Clubs Act you must sign in with your member card or proof of ID to enjoy the facilities.

To make check-in more efficient it would be great if you could download the Service NSW App. This would greatly speed up your check-in process. If you do not have a smartphone, from the 1st of January you will be required to enter your details to Service NSW manually. The Clubs Reception Teams are here to help with this.

Please understand this initiative is taken is taken by the NSW Government to keep us all healthy and safe. Club Central is supportive of this initiative as it helps to keep us all safe and healthy.

Thanks for your cooperation and patience through the process.

Best Regards,

Paul Richardson

Dear valued members,

I’m writing to let you know how Club Central is dealing with the most recent changes associated with COVID-19 in New South Wales which came into place over the weekend.

Our commitment to keeping our members, guests and team safe and well is our number one priority. Most importantly we are still open and staying up to date with requirements under Public Health orders.

You may notice some changes on your next visit to our Clubs. The capacity limit of 300 guests at any one time has been reinstated, along with the 1 person per 4 square metre rule. The impact of this may mean that during peak times there is a short wait to enter the club. We ask for your patience and cooperation in following any guidance or directions given by club staff. You will also notice that our team are wearing face masks once more for their protection and yours. We would ask that you consider doing the same.

Our existing COVID-safe measures will continue to protect your health whilst in our venue. They include thermal camera temperature testing on arrival, electronic sign in of all persons on the premises, hygiene attendants and cleaners maintaining a safe environment and close monitoring of social distancing.

At this stage our Christmas and New Years Eve events are going ahead. The NSW Government will be reviewing restrictions on Wednesday morning and following that we will review our operations and services to members and provide an update. Until then we will continue to adhere to the NSW Government Public Health requirements and will be back in touch with you should anything change.

I sincerely thank you for your continued support. Let’s look out for each other and get through this together.

Best regards,

Paul Richardson
